About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior QA/QS Engineer to manage quality assurance systems and quantity surveying functions across a major infrastructure project. This opportunity is part of a project currently at the EOI stage, and we are engaging with qualified professionals in preparation for a potential project award. The Senior QA/QS Engineer will report to the Team Leader and will be responsible for overseeing quality systems, contract measurement, payment processes, and document control.
Key Responsibilities:
• Establish and implement project-wide QA/QC systems and procedures
• Manage measurement and payment systems in line with contract requirements
• Oversee document management systems and ensure proper record keeping
• Review and process contractor’s interim payment certificates for certification
• Ensure compliance with FIDIC (or similar) contract conditions
• Monitor quality performance and support audits and inspections
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders on QA/QS matters
Key Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Professionally qualified Engineer preferred
• 10+ years of overall experience
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar infrastructure projects
• Strong experience in QA/QC systems, contract measurement, and payment certification
• Experience in document management systems and reporting
• Familiarity with FIDIC or similar contract conditions preferred
