Job Description

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

3–5 years of experience in software QA or support roles, preferably within a web or eCommerce environment.

Understanding of eCommerce testing principles including end-to-end order workflows, data validation across systems (ERP, WMS, PIM), customer experience testing, and regression testing. Experience with headless commerce platforms such as commerceTools, including catalog, cart, and checkout APIs, is strongly preferred.

Experience reviewing logs and debugging issues across APIs and web interfaces.

Familiarity with test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, Xray, etc.), browser developer tools, Postman or similar API clients, and bug tracking systems like Jira.

Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Cypress or Selenium is a plus.

Support regression testing with reusable scripts over time.

Familiarity with version control (Git, GitHub, GitLab) and collaboration/documentation tools (e.g., Confluence, Sharepoint).

Basic understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL (used by headless CMS/commerce platforms), and integration testing between frontend, CMS (e.g., ContentStack), and backend systems (ERP, WMS). Basic understanding of APIs and integration testing between systems (e.g., commerceTools to ERP/WMS).

Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus, particularly around deployments, log access, or monitoring tools.

Knowledge of or exposure to commerceTools, Sage X3, Solochain WMS, or similar platforms. Programming/framework experience in C#, .NET, PHP, Laravel, Symfony, Xamarin, or Angular, React, Vue is a nice to have.

Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment.


This role is critical to ensuring the quality and stability of our next-generation B2B eCommerce experience. As a QA/Support Engineer, you’ll work closely with developers, product managers, and system integrators to test and monitor a composable, headless architecture built on commerceTools, ContentStack CMS, and a Vercel-hosted frontend (Next.js). You’ll contribute to quality assurance, debug issues across decoupled systems, and support integrations with ERP, WMS, and PIM platforms in a highly collaborative and modern engineering environment.

Job Duties:

Learn and test composable eCommerce workflows; create and execute test plans for the Next.js/Vercel frontend, commerceTools APIs, and integration points with CMS (ContentStack), ERP, WMS, and PIM systems.

Monitor application logs and cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Vercel, CMS logs); respond to reported issues and assist in triaging problems across decoupled systems.

Participate in API contract testing across microservices and validate data consistency between commerceTools, CMS, and ERP.

Contribute to testing of CI/CD pipelines, environment configurations, and deployment verification in a multi-service headless stack.

Document test cases, defects, known issues, workflows, and system behavior; contribute to internal knowledge bases and training resources for QA and support.

Follow testing best practices for eCommerce systems, including test data setup, negative path testing, and validation of business rules across systems; help ensure releases align with functional, performance, and user expectations.

Propose and support QA process improvements, share insights from testing experience, and stay up to date on commerceTools QA practices and tools.

Demonstrated capability to derive comprehensive test cases and testing procedures from existing documentation, including Jira tickets, feature specifications, and functional requirements.

Perform other related duties as required to support the team and ensure the success of the QA and support functions.

Maintain sanitary and safe work environment and follow safety requirements. May actively participate on company’s Safety Committee.

Ensure that company safety policies as well as federal, state and local safety and environmental regulations are observed.

Must have a complete understanding of company’s policies, SOPs, QPs, EPs, HACCP and cGMP that pertain to their department to ensure quality, safety, efficiency and sustainability.

Must adhere to all company policies. Examine documents, materials, and products and monitor work processes to assess completeness, accuracy and conformance to standards and specifications. Follow all SOPs in a given area.

Perform all other duties as assigned by Manager and/or designee.
