Job Description

1. Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional and technical specifications, demonstrating a strong understanding of software testing methodologies and processes.
2. Perform manual testing of software applications, focusing on defect identification and ensuring high-quality deliverables; familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, or similar) is preferred.
3. Collaborate effectively with development and product teams to understand requirements and provide constructive feedback on product usability and functionality.
4. Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla), ensuring timely resolution and maintaining clear communication throughout the process.
5. Conduct regression testing to validate changes and enhancements made to the software, ensuring continued functionality.
6. Participate in the review of requirements and specifications to ensure testability and completeness, contributing to the overall quality assurance process.
7. Analyze testing results and provide actionable insights to improve product quality, utilizing strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases, test results, and quality metrics, ensuring transparency and clarity in testing progress and outcomes.
9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in quality assurance and testing methodologies, fostering continuous improvement.
10. Basic experience with automation frameworks and tools, along with knowledge of API testing and tools like Postman or JMeter, is a plus.
11. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
12. Strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively in a team environment.
