To build our team in Chișinău, we are looking for a (Senior) QA Engineer with manual and automation testing experience. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test plans to ensure the quality, functionality, and usability of our mobile apps, web apps, and full-stack development projects.

You will be part of an international team with 45 different nationalities, which creates a diverse and enriching work environment. Are you a skilled QA Engineer with a solid background in test design and automation? Do you have hands-on experience testing large-scale applications, leveraging modern tools and infrastructure components? Are you comfortable establishing QA processes and implementing industry best practices on new projects?

Your Tasks

• Champion a "Shift Left" Mindset: You will be a key voice for quality in planning and refinement meetings, collaborating closely with developers and product managers to build testability and quality into our features from day one.
• Own the Testing Lifecycle: You'll design and execute robust test strategies for all aspects of the application, including functionality, performance, and security, with a special focus on the Android Automotive environment.
• Drive Automation Strategy: You will proactively identify opportunities for automation, lead discussions on implementation, and contribute with the help of modern AI tools to the development and maintenance of our automated test suites to increase efficiency and test coverage.
• Improve Our Processes: You will actively help modernize our QA approach. We count on your ideas and initiative to continuously improve our manual and automated testing methodologies, tools, and overall development process.
• Ensure Clarity and Quality You'll identify and document defects with precision using our bug tracking systems and participate in code reviews to provide constructive feedback that elevates our overall code quality.

Your profile

• Professional Experience: A minimum of 3 years in a full-time QA role, with a strong background in both manual and automated testing methodologies (e.g., black-box, white-box, integration) and the openness to work in both, manual & automation testing.
• Automation & Programming Skills: Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language (e.g. JavaScript) and hands-on experience with modern E2E testing frameworks (e.g., Appium, Selenium) and API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).
• Agile & Collaborative Mindset: A flexible, creative, and solution-oriented approach. You thrive in an agile environment and believe in open, clear communication.
• Growth-Oriented Attitude: You view mistakes as valuable learning opportunities and are not afraid to ask questions, challenge the status quo, and learn from your experiences.
• Strong Foundation: Good understanding of ISEB/ISTQB standards, CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI), and web/mobile development concepts.
• Language Skills: Excellent communication skills in English (at least B2 level), both written and spoken.
  
  

Bonus Points

• You are strong in coordinating testing activities and can set up testing environments on Hardware-Racks using the Android Debug Bridge.
  
• Automotive Testing Experience: Proven experience in the automated testing of Android Automotive applications.
• Visual Testing Expertise: Significant experience with automated screenshot/visual regression testing tools (e.g., Roborazzi, Applitools).
• Unit Testing Familiarity: Experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit or PHPUnit.
