As a Senior QA Engineer at PropertyGuru, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web and mobile products through advanced testing methodologies and automation. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive quality assurance initiatives, enhance testing frameworks, and uphold the highest standards of product excellence.

As a Guru you will be accountable for:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product requirements and specifications for both web and mobile applications. Define testing strategies to ensure thorough coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using tools such as Playwright, Selenium, or Appium. Continuously enhance automation coverage to improve efficiency and effectiveness of testing efforts.

• Conduct automated testing including functional, regression, integration, system, performance, and security testing for web and mobile platforms. Analyze test results to identify defects and ensure adherence to quality standards.

• Collaborate effectively with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage. Participate in code reviews to provide feedback on code quality and testability.

• Drive continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies. Proactively identify opportunities to streamline testing workflows, improve test coverage, and enhance overall product quality.

We're looking for someone who:

• Proven track record of testing web and mobile applications in a dynamic environment.

• Proficiency in developing and executing automated test cases using tools such as Playwright, Selenium, or Appium. Strong experience with scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or similar for test automation.

• Solid understanding and experience with functional, regression, integration, system, performance, and security testing methodologies. Experience with performance testing tools and frameworks is a plus.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex systems and workflows to identify potential quality issues and recommend solutions.

Our tech stack centers around the JavaScript ecosystem, using Node.js and NestJS for the backend, React with JavaScript/TypeScript for the frontend, and Next.js for full-stack applications. We also work with GraphQL, MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Docker, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, Tailwind, Chakra UI, Jest, Playwright, and Redis.
