We are growing our consulting team and looking for a Senior QA Consultant to join us on our exciting journey and be part of the Hitachi Solutions family.

Key Accountabilities

  • Accountable for the delivery of the automated and manual testing to an agreed and timeline and to an acceptable level of quality, reporting to the Test Lead.
  • Accountable for test scope, and adhering to the published methodology and project controls.
  • Accountable for Test Progress reporting.
  • Providing support and guidance to Test Consultants and Test Analysts.

Key Responsibilities

  • The overall delivery of the testing on a day-by-day basis to time, quality and budget.
  • Planning, delegating, monitoring and controlling the Test Team’s activities in accordance with the Test plan.
  • Responsible for ensuring that the Test plan is resourced throughout all phases of the testing lifecycle.
  • Ensuring that the testing process is followed, and that all deliverables, milestones, and test phases are accepted.
  • Act as a point of contact for the Test Team and escalate any required actions, issues, or risks to the Project Team/Steering Group.
  • Being point of contact to the junior test team on solution understanding
  • Assessing products and requirements, checking for quality and accuracy
  • Ensuring that scripts are prepared and written to a high quality level
  • Organising and Managing of Test Meetings.
  • Providing a junior Test Lead role on smaller projects

Qualifications

Key Competencies

  • A good understanding of the software test and development process and the business approach.
  • Security Clearance or Security Clearance eligible
  • Demonstrable experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Experience in performance testing and Azure load testing, using toolsets like JMeter, BlazeMeter, and K6, is highly desirable.
  • Accessibility testing experience desirable.
  • Hands-on experience in Playwright, Selenium Grid & WebDriver C#, SQL, Ruby, Specflow, and Cucumber.
  • Experience in using AI technologies such as Co-Pilot.
  • Javascript experience.
  • Good exposure to SOAP, REST based APIs.
  • Good exposure to DevOps / Test Plan APIs.
  • Structured and disciplined with good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to produce high quality and professional written documentation.
  • Good presentation skills.
  • Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
