Project description
The client, an investment bank is renewing its workflow automation technology. The project it's a new platform aiming at simplifying business process interactions and automation by using modern technologies specific to this domain. The core of the platform is managing all platform business processes and providing core functionalities, libraries, indexing, data enhancement, and user interaction to onboarded use cases. The goal is to have high availability and high-performance platform infrastructure with a focus on fast business adoption with low downtimes. Core technologies are Java, Camunda, Spring, Hibernate, and Elasticsearch deployed on OpenShift/Kubernetes environments and automated by E2E CI/CD pipelines.
Skills required:
•Java (OOP principles, Design patterns)
•Spring and SpringBoot
•Cucumber ( Data Table, Annotations )
•Automation framework tools: Selenium, Rest Assured or similar
•Rest calls interaction
•HTTP protocol understanding
•Excellent skills in Test planning, designing, and test strategy/case/script creation and execution.
•Experience with integration & regression testing and coordination with supporting systems.
Nice To Have:
•JMS integration in Java project
•Test development with Spring
•Integration of test management tool (ALM / Jira / Test Rail, etc) with Java framework
•Load/performance/stress testing experience (e.g. JMeter)
•TeamCity / Jenkins experience
Responsibilities:
•Ability to plan and implement the full set of test automation activities: create, maintain, and execute automated tests.
•Develop, extend, and improve the existing Test Automation tools and test frameworks
•Providing input to the project plan/release plan, defect/change management processes, systems integration, testing tools and processes;
•Identifying areas of weakness to existing procedures, continually implementing new procedures, and assessing risk of impact from changes to projects;
•Assisting the IT application team in achieving quality products by identifying defects and deficiencies early and providing feedback for continuously improving the development and testing processes.
•Ability to perform manual testing when required.
