Job Description

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to support the quality assurance processes within a fintech environment, contributing to the development and reliability of digital financial solutions.

Project/Client: Fintech

Location: EU (priority for candidates from Lithuania)
Start Date: ASAP
Language: English
Rate - 32-38 eur/hour (depends on the seniority)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute test cases covering functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and performance testing
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Playwright
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery
  • Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating with developers to resolve issues efficiently
  • Analyze test failures and production incidents to identify root causes
  • Evaluate test coverage, assess quality risks, and propose improvements to QA processes
  • Maintain clear and structured test documentation
  • Support code reviews and mentor junior QA engineers within the team

Must-Have Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in QA and test automation
  • Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
  • Proven experience with Open Banking projects and/or PISP (Payment Initiation Service Provider) systems
  • Strong experience with QA methodologies, test design, and defect analysis
  • Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and integration with CI/CD
  • Experience working in Agile development environments
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and strong sense of ownership regarding software quality
