About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Python Developer to join a high-performing digital engineering team in Amsterdam. This role focuses on designing and developing scalable microservices, cloud-native applications, and enterprise solutions using Python, FastAPI, Kafka, and Azure technologies within a SAFe Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications and microservices.
- Build high-performance REST APIs using FastAPI
- Develop event-driven solutions using Kafka
- Gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Prepare functional and technical specification documents.
- Create user stories and participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and spike creation.
- Develop and execute test cases to ensure software quality.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker, AKS, and Helm.
- Support production deployments, cut-over planning, hyper-care, and post-implementation transition.
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
