Job Description


Our client is a global organization specializing in building scalable digital platforms and advanced data-driven solutions. With a strong focus on innovation and reliability, they support international clients in developing modern backend systems that power real-time, high-impact use cases such as fraud detection and intelligent data processing.
For an exciting backend platform initiative, we are currently looking for experienced Python Engineers. This is a full-time position offered under a standard employment contract. The role requires a hybrid working model from one of the company’s locations in Wrocław, Warsaw, or Kraków.
This position offers a great opportunity to work at the core of distributed systems and platform engineering, contributing to scalable, production-grade solutions in a cloud-native environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using Python;

  • Build and evolve distributed systems supporting real-time data processing;

  • Work with streaming data pipelines and event-driven architectures;

  • Develop and operate services within AWS cloud environments;

  • Collaborate closely with platform, data, and engineering teams to ensure system reliability and scalability;

  • Write clean, testable, and maintainable production code;

  • Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical decision-making.


Requirements


  • 5-7 years of commercial experience as a Python backend engineer (mandatory);

  • Strong experience building production-grade backend or platform systems;

  • Solid understanding of distributed systems concepts (reliability, scalability, fault tolerance);

  • Experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS;

  • Knowledge of APIs, microservices, and backend service design;

  • Strong engineering fundamentals: debugging, testing, performance optimization.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis, Pub/Sub);

  • Exposure to data platforms or ML-enabled systems;

  • Experience with high-throughput or low-latency systems (real-time processing);

  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, or DevOps tooling;
