The team provides full lifecycle solutions — from connector and cable assembly design to prototyping, testing, and scalable manufacturing — enabling customers to accelerate product time-to-market, improve reliability, and lower total cost of ownership.

Your Job

Drive procurement strategy and execution to secure the timely, cost-effective, and quality-assured supply of materials, components, equipment, and services. Accountable for delivering measurable cost savings, strengthening supplier performance, mitigating supply risk, and leading contract negotiations and purchasing team performance to achieve business and operational targets.


What You Will Do

  • Define and implement sourcing strategies that improve cost competitiveness, supply continuity, and operational performance.
  • Drive supplier selection, performance evaluation, and development to build a reliable and competitive supply base.
  • Lead negotiations for pricing, contracts, payment terms, and commercial conditions to secure maximum business value.
  • Ensure uninterrupted material availability to meet production plans and customer delivery commitments.
  • Deliver cost reduction, value engineering, and productivity improvement initiatives across the spend portfolio.
  • Partner with Production, Quality, Engineering, Logistics, and Finance to align procurement with business priorities and plant performance goals.
  • Manage procurement budgets, forecasts, and KPIs to improve spending control and decision-making effectiveness.
  • Ensure full compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards, protecting business continuity and governance.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the purchasing team to strengthen execution, accountability, and results.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, or related field.
  • MBA or Master's Degree preferred.
  • Solid progressive experience in procurement and/or purchasing departments.
  • A few years of hands-on experience in a leadership position.
  • Experience in the cable manufacturing industry is an advantage.
  • Fluent in English and Italian, written & spoken

Technical Skills required

  • Strategic sourcing execution and procurement performance management
  • Commercial and contract negotiation to secure business value
  • Supplier performance and relationship management
  • ERP-driven procurement planning and control (SAP preferred)
  • Data-driven cost analysis and spend optimization
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills for analysis and reporting (Excel, PowerPoint)
