Job Description

ABOUT US

FleetPartners is a leading ASX‑listed provider of fleet leasing, fleet management and novated leasing across Australia and New Zealand. Every day, we help businesses and individuals move forward with smarter, more sustainable vehicle solutions.

But what really sets us apart is our people.

We’re a supportive, customer‑focused team that works together to deliver great outcomes for our customers — and for each other. We create an environment where people feel encouraged to grow, develop their skills and do their best work.

If you’re looking for a workplace that supports your development and creates an inclusive, collaborative environment, you’ll feel right at home at FleetPartners.

THE ROLE

This senior role offers a unique opportunity to develop expertise across both supply chain management and financial services. It’s ideal for someone who is passionate about automotive products and thrives on owning the on‑time delivery of customer vehicles.

You’ll manage the full end‑to‑end vehicle order process with external suppliers and coordinate settlement activities with drivers and employers to ensure seamless delivery and no delays to funding applications.

In addition, you will provide leadership support to the Purchasing team, acting as the escalation point and stepping in for the Purchasing Manager when required — including delegating work and driving successful outcomes across the team.

Some of your key responsibilities will be:

  • Management and ownership of end-to-end Purchasing processes, including vehicle ordering, scheduling, proactive dealership follow-up, vehicle delivery, ensuring minimal missed deliveries, re-work and zero missed PPSR registrations.
  • Own and resolve order escalations and issues, engaging internal stakeholders to drive positive outcomes and support strong customer NPS.
  • Support and develop the Purchasing team through coaching, cross-training, onboarding of new starters, refresher training and promoting a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
  • Identify and implement process and system improvements to streamline operations and enhance service delivery across Purchasing and related teams.
  • Deliver against agreed SLA’s and KPI’s while maintaining high standards of accountability and professionalism.

ABOUT YOU

You’re a proactive and detail‑driven professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional outcomes for customers and stakeholders. With strong operational knowledge and the ability to lead, prioritise and problem‑solve, you bring both technical expertise and a calm, solutions‑focused approach to your work. You’re someone who can step up when needed, manage complexity with confidence, and consistently maintain high standards across all tasks.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Demonstrated leadership capability, strong communication skills and the ability to engage stakeholders while maintaining a focus on customer excellence.
  • Advanced understanding of dealership and third‑party operational processes, including timelines for fitment, vehicle delivery and lease activation.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle funding processes and the impact funding structures have on monthly forecasting outcomes.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and consistently achieve SLA and performance targets.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accuracy across high-volume administrative and operational tasks.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Previous experience in a similar Purchasing, Operations, or Administration role is preferred

BENEFITS:

We offer more than just a role:

  • 27 days of annual leave per year.
  • Hybrid work flexibility with a convenient office location steps from Melbourne Central station
  • A ‘Dress for your Day’ policy
  • 16 weeks paid parental leave for primary careers, regardless of gender and with no minimum tenure and 4 weeks paid leave for secondary carers
  • Ongoing training to help you develop and grow with real career development opportunities
  • Rewards programme, including a range of discounts from a variety of retailers.
  • An extensive range of other employee benefits.

If you’re looking for a senior role where you can lead, influence outcomes and help deliver exceptional customer experiences, we’d love to hear from you! Apply today!
