Your New Role...

Senior PTP Coordinator role exists to coordinate and oversee Procure to Pay (PTP) operations within Warner Bros. Discovery. The role focuses on ensuring efficient end-to-end PTP process execution, strong controls and SOX compliance. The Senior PTP Coordinator acts as a key operational owner, ensuring that PTP activities are delivered in line with agreed service levels, company policies and control requirements, while supporting continuous improvement across PTP processes.

Your Role Accountabilities...

  • Lead and manage a team of AP Analysts, providing day-to-day guidance, performance management, coaching and development support, including conducting regular 1:1 meetings, performance reviews and annual evaluations to ensure high team engagement and operational effectiveness
  • Monitor service delivery against agreed SLAs and KPIs, supporting performance reviews and continuous improvement initiatives, ensure high-quality, proactive customer service to internal and external stakeholders in line with company policies and procedures • Coordinate core PTP processes to support operational success (e.g. vendor creation, invoice processing, PO matching, invoice routing)
  • Work closely with AP, Purchasing, Payments and RTR teams to resolve business and vendor inquiries
  • Support and coordinate month-end and year-end activities, including reconciliation of Accounts Payable balance sheet accounts
  • Maintain and update PTP process documentation and work instructions for supported countries
  • Ensure business users and vendors follow defined PTP processes, support education and guidance on correct procedures , monitor and reconcile aging PTP activities, including transactions processed through interfacing applications, support integration and onboarding of new acquisitions into WBD systems and PTP processes
  • Support PTP system changes, enhancements and testing activities, including new company codes and business projects, act as a subject matter expert for PTP processes and technologies (OpenText VIM, SAP ECC, Blackline)

Qualifications & Experiences:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred, or equivalent professional experience, minimum 5 years of experience within Accounts Payable / Procure to Pay
  • Solid understanding of end-to-end PTP processes, basic knowledge of tax requirements related to AP invoices, Strong SAP experience is required
  • Experience in the Media industry and/or Media Sales is preferred
  • Very good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines, transition or transformation experience is an advantage, comfortable in working in highly iterative and somewhat unstructured environment

Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager.
