Psychologist Grade 3 (P3)
Pay Range: $108,279 to $123,915 plus Super and Salary packaging
Location: Thomas Embling Hospital, Fairfield

Forensicare is Victoria's specialist provider of forensic mental health services, delivering recovery-focused care to people with serious mental illness who are connected to, or at risk of contact with, the justice system. We provide services across secure inpatient, prison and community settings throughout Victoria.

As Thomas Embling Hospital continues to evolve and grow, we are seeking an experienced Senior Psychologist (Grade 3) to join our expanding psychology workforce. This is an opportunity to contribute to a service at a time of significant development, influence clinical practice, and help shape contemporary models of forensic mental health care.

Working within a highly regarded multidisciplinary team, you will provide advanced psychological assessment, formulation and intervention for consumers with complex mental health needs, while contributing to service innovation, workforce development and clinical excellence.

About the Opportunity
This senior role offers the chance to:
• Play a key role in the ongoing growth and development of forensic hospital services
• Deliver specialist psychological assessments, interventions and court-related reports
• Provide expert consultation on complex and high-risk clinical presentations
• Influence treatment planning and recovery-focused care
• Supervise postgraduate psychology students and support workforce capability
• Contribute to new programs, quality improvement initiatives and service innovation
• Work alongside experienced clinicians in one of Australia's most unique mental health environments

About You
You are an experienced psychologist who is excited by the opportunity to contribute during a period of service growth and development.
You will bring:
• Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia
• Area of practice endorsement in Clinical, Forensic or Neuropsychology
• Board Approved Supervisor status, or eligibility
• Postgraduate qualifications in Clinical or Forensic Psychology
• At least five years of post-qualification experience
• Strong skills in assessment, formulation, intervention and report writing
• Experience providing consultation, supervision and leadership within multidisciplinary settings
