We are looking for a Senior Psychologist | Clinical Services Regional Manager to join our team. This permanent full-time role is based in Melbourne CBD but will involve travel across the regions in which you manage.

What You Need to Know

To be successful in this role, you will require a high level of compassion as well as professional knowledge and experience.

  • You will be leading a multidisciplinary clinical team including Psychologists, Social Workers and Counsellors across two states (VIC and Tasmania).
  • You will be working within a fast-growing organisation that requires patience and flexibility.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to the clinical team in all aspects of service delivery.
  • Provide escalation support to the call centre for complex cases where risk is identified, and ensure daily clinical outcomes are met.
  • Provide escalation support assisting the On-call Psychologists as required (rostered with other regional managers and senior clinical staff).
  • You will maintain a small caseload that will predominantly include high level organisational services such as Manager Assistance, Critical Incident Response services and other clinical services.
  • You will require attention to detail and the ability to manage complexity associated with boundaries and multiple stakeholders.
  • You should be self-motivated and able to manage your workload effectively.

Your Contributions:

  • Successful applicants will be AHPRA registered psychologists
  • A minimum of 5 years post-registration experience
  • Strong skills and experience in providing high-quality clinical services
  • Experience in an EAP or Workplace Mental Health role is highly desirable.
  • A strong senior Psychologist who can develop and maintain strong relationships with the clinical team, new and established clients and other key stakeholders.
  • Counselling Skills: Excellent counselling skills drawn from evidence-based frameworks, with demonstrated competency and experience providing psychological services for a broad range of clients and presenting concerns.
  • Critical Incident Response: Experience in providing critical incident response to workplaces is desirable.
  • Organisational Skills: Exceptional planning and organisational abilities with the capacity to self-manage and work autonomously.
  • Tech Savvy: Confidence in using technology and an IT case management system.
  • Exceptional planning and organisational ability coupled with the ability to self-manage and work autonomously.
