In this role, you'll:
Work as part of a team delivering successful professional court advocacy services and representation on behalf of TfNSW at various Local & District Courts, in a broad range of prosecutions for specified regulatory offences and other breaches of relevant legislation and appeals of TfNSW administrative decisions (including NCAT appeals) as well as criminal prosecutions.
This role will see you driving a customer focused delivery of prosecution and court advocacy services within a strict legal framework, while delivering positive, effective and efficient outcomes for TfNSW.
You will use your prosecution/advocacy skills in an environment that provides a work/life balance and a flexible work approach.
At times you may be required to travel to court locations including but not limited to Gosford, Wyong, Katoomba, Wollongong, Goulburn and Moss Vale.
Please note the office location is Parramatta but there may be scope for a Prosecutor to work out of Newcastle. However, you would be required to travel to Parramatta on a regular basis and appear in the Sydney basin courts, attend training days and or other operational commitments.
This is a permanent full-time role.

About you
Your background as a skilled legal professional with experience as an advocate in local courts or similar environments with a thorough knowledge of prosecution and appeal processes will enable you to join this busy, high performing team who values likeminded people.
You will be a team player with the ability to work autonomously in a high-volume environment, additionally you will be flexible, adaptable and proactive while being able to maintain a calm demeanour. Appropriate tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent extensive experience in a simar complex environment is essential.
Your recognised as an excellent communicator who is highly organised, solutions focused with a ""can do"" attitude.
