The Senior Proposition Manager is a leadership role accountable for management and monitoring of the product strategy within Old Mutual Group Retirement Solutions.The role exists to ensure that Old Mutual delivers on its promise to retirement fund clients and their stakeholders.This role will own the management of the administration proposition end-to-end with a large focus on Old Mutual SuperFund and specifically the governance frameworks around the Fund.The incumbent will build a close relationship with the Management Board of the Old Mutual SuperFund to ensure the smooth operations of the Fund as well as providing key insights to senior stakeholders.This role will need to ensure continuous improvement in the proposition to maintain Old Mutual’s leading position in industry.

Key Result Areas:

Proposition Management

• Own the Group Retirement Solutions proposition to support improved digital engagement channels and servicing.

• Own the administration proposition end‑to‑end, with a focus on scalability, governance, servicing quality, and client experience, including but not limited to reviewing various service providers to the administration product to drive TCF and Value for Money principles throughout the proposition.

• Maintain effective governance processes within the retirement fund administration area.

• Drive continuous improvement of the proposition, ensuring Old Mutual remains competitive and best‑in‑class in fund administration and governance.

Risk Management

• Provide oversight of risk governance and resolution aligned to TCF and Value for Money principles.

• Ensure audit findings, gaps, and remediation actions are clearly tracked, escalated, and resolved.

• Own attestation and ongoing assurance processes related to Effective Annual Cost (“EAC”) and Retirement Savings Cost (“RSC”).

• Act as a key contributor to internal and external audits, regulatory engagements, and assurance reviews relating to the Fund.

Broker Governance and Oversight

• Own broker due diligence and accreditation framework for Group Retirement Solutions.

• Ensure the maintenance of clear governance, approval and review processes for broker participation in the Fund.

Leadership and Operating Model

• Provide strong leadership within the proposition function, embedding accountability, ownership, and governance discipline

• Operate with a commercial and Trustee‑aware mindset, balancing member outcomes, operational risk, and sustainability of the Fund.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Manage the relationship with the Old Mutual SuperFund Board.

• Report to the Old Mutual SuperFund Board as required.

Qualifications, Skills, Experience required:

• Relevant Bachelors or Postgraduate qualification

• 10+ years’ experience in product management, employee benefit consulting or leadership roles.

• Proven leadership experience

• Strong commercial thinking

• Experience in technical marketing would be advantageous

• Demonstrated ability to operate at commercial level, influencing strategic decisions and outcomes

• Experience working across complex, matrixed organisations is essential
