Job Description

Our Energy & Utilities business is seeking an experienced Senior Property Consultant to join our Telecommunications Wireless team. In this role you will be responsible for delivering property site acquisition services for multiple telecommunications site programs to fulfil contractual site acquisition commitments and deliver in line with business requirements.

This is a full-time permanent role that will be based in Sydney. We offer flexible working arrangements and the ability to split your working week between WFH and our office.

Some key responsibilities include:

  • Organise and attend site scoping visits.

  • Investigate and report on property ownership, titles and encumbrances.

  • Identity suitable sites and deliver candidate selection and property feasibility assessments / reports.

  • Liaise with landowners, the client and legal service providers for tenancy negotiations and tenure formalisation.

  • Liaise with government agencies (e.g. Crown Lands, National Parks, Councils) to secure tenure on public land where required.

  • Draft and issue Land Access and Activity Notices (LAANs)

  • Report to the client in a regular, clear and effective manner.

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role you will have a high level of verbal and written communication skills enabling you to connect with a wide variety of individuals including internal stakeholders, the client and landowners. Above all you will be a motivated, collaborative and results oriented individual.

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role preferably within the Telecommunications industry.
  • Tertiary qualification in Property, Land or Environment is preferred.
  • Applicable property and/or legal certifications to allow dealings with relevant jurisdictions is required.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of tenure and leasing principles.
  • Customer-oriented focus with a drive to achieve service-based outcomes.
