
We’re excited to announce we are hiring a Senior Property and Casualty Mobile Underwriter role, covering Somerset, Devon and Cornwall, with occasional trips to our Bristol office. A company car is provided.
You’ll play a key role in supporting the development of the branch account, driving growth and profitability through effective negotiation and securing quality business in Somerset, Devon, and Cornwall.
In this role, you’ll help underwrite cases, gather and prepare data for referral, and work closely with brokers and the branch team to encourage growth. You’ll also use your people skills to build rapport and provide excellent service to customers and colleagues alike.
As part of your development, you’ll have the opportunity to work towards the Global P&C Academy accreditation, strengthening your expertise in underwriting, risk engineering, pricing, and claims management, while connecting with peers across Allianz. For pricing‑focused roles, there’s also a supportive study package available to help you pursue actuarial qualification through the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries in the UK.
Continuous learning is equally important to us, you’ll have access to great training resources like DataCamp, Databricks Academy and LinkedIn Learning. You’ll also be able to join our informal Lunch and Learn sessions and monthly insight forums, where team members share insights and help strengthen your technical skills.
Salary Information
Pay: Circa £60,000 per year + Company Car
Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.
