DBD International is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Project Planner to join our Mission Delivery capability. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the successful delivery of major programmes within the nuclear sector, supporting complex and high-profile projects across Defence, Decommissioning and New Build environments.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality project planning and scheduling support across a portfolio of projects, working closely with project managers, technical teams and clients to ensure effective project execution and delivery.
What you will be doing:
Developing, maintaining and managing integrated project schedules using Primavera P6
Supporting project teams throughout project execution to ensure effective planning, monitoring and control of activities
Producing and maintaining baseline schedules, progress updates, critical path analyses and forecast plans
Identifying schedule risks, constraints and potential delivery impacts, supporting mitigation and recovery planning where required
Supporting the coordination of project resources, workload planning and delivery priorities
Preparing and consolidating project reports, milestone tracking, schedule analyses and project controls information
Working collaboratively with project managers, engineers, commercial teams and clients to support successful project delivery
Supporting planning activities across multiple projects within a complex and regulated environment
Ensuring planning activities are delivered in line with company procedures, standards and client requirements
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across planning, scheduling and project controls activities
Supporting bid and proposal activities, including development of schedules and delivery strategies where required
Formal qualifications or training:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience
Strong experience in Project Planning, Project Scheduling or Project Controls
Experience working within the Nuclear industry or another highly regulated sector
Strong Primavera P6 scheduling experience
Experience supporting complex, multi-disciplinary projects
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work collaboratively within integrated project teams
