Could you be the full-time Senior Project Planner in Bucharest we’re looking for?


Your future role:

Take on a new challenge and apply your scheduling and project management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Adrian and work alongside dynamic, adaptable, and forward-thinking teammates.

You'll play a key role in developing and updating project schedules, collecting and analyzing time-related project information, and supporting decision-making processes to achieve On Time Delivery (OTD) performance. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, including internal and external stakeholders, aligning schedules and managing project documentation, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of creating and optimizing project schedules, but also advising teams on time-related contractual disputes and risk mitigation strategies.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Working in close collaboration with the Project Manager (PM) / Chief of Development (CoD) / Chief of Operations (CoO), providing essential scheduling expertise and strategic time management support.
  • Acts as the right hand of the PM / CoD / CoO,
    • Acts as the Project Manager’s trusted deputy, ensuring alignment across the core team and stepping in to lead when needed.
    • Serves as the central connector of project interfaces, steering execution through robust scheduling and proactive coordination.
    • Is a visible and respected leader within the project team, fostering collaboration, maintaining momentum, and driving delivery excellence.
    • Communicates efficiently at any level, adapting the communication to the audience both verbally and written.
  • Develop and update schedules for projects that reach up to a medium level of criticality.
  • Evaluate and effectively communicate time-related project information in various formats.
  • Advise the project team on strategies to achieve On Time Delivery (OTD) performance.
  • Provide guidance on time-related contractual disputes.
  • Influence the development and alignment of schedules across project stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage project scheduling documentation.
  • Support other project planners in their scheduling responsibilities.

    • Engineering or Business degree

    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a full-time planning and scheduling role

    • Experience in industrial or construction sectors

    • Proficiency in one scheduling tool (OdyC, Primavera, etc.) and familiarity with an additional scheduling software tool (Kinaxis, MS Project, TILOS)

    • Advanced skills in MS Excel or other data analysis tools

    • Detailed knowledge of scheduling theory and methods, such as EVM

    • Knowledge of time-related contractual obligations and principles of delay analysis
    • Curiosity, the drive to learn, and the readiness to share knowledge with others

    • Strong communication skills and the ability to challenge and guide teams

    • Basic understanding of railway industry products and technologies

    • Good written and verbal communication skills; an effective team player
    • Ability to challenge and guide teams and be proactive in proposing solutions
