Job Description

  • New opportunity to join the Authority with your relationship building and problem-solving skills.

  • 12-month temporary FT - (35 hours/wk)

  • Role based in Lismore (Northern Rivers), with flexible/hybrid working environment.  

  • Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $133,348 to $146,945 + super 

  • Aboriginal targeted opportunity

About the role

As the Senior Project Officer, you will bemanaging a small team to deliver a range grant outcomes in the Buybacks and Resilient Measures streams of the Resilient Homes Program.

This role also involvesbuyback grant case management, and grant payment administration,implementingdisaster funding policies and ensuring high-quality customer service including responsibilities for:

  • Establish stakeholder relationships through negotiation and issues management to engage stakeholders and ensure project deliverables are met

  • Set workplan for team and monitor progress, resolving delays and ensuring timely grant payments and outcomes

  • Manage the team’s training and compliance with governance, risk, funding and quality requirements

About You 

You will have strong skills in grant administration and team management, to effectively drive meet service level commitments and support the team to deliver quality outcomes.

You have a track record of strong problem solving and analytical thinking skills to assess situations and develop resolution strategies. You are passionate about building strong collaborative relationships across teams and providing operational support in a community-focused environment. 

Experience with grant administration, and platforms such as SAP, SuccessFactors andorSmartyGrants is highly advantageous

Essential Requirements 

  •  Tertiary qualification and/or relevant knowledge and experience.
