This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of NSW’s transition to a low carbon future. You will join a high-performing team shaping reforms, policies and programs that support the development of a low carbon liquid fuels industry, strengthen fuel security, reduce emissions, and create new opportunities for regional economic growth and investment.
As a Senior Project Officer, you will lead the planning, coordination and delivery of complex policy and programs including the Renewable Fuel Scheme. In this role, you’ll also work across other related initiatives to strengthen environmental regulation and improve service delivery outcomes.
Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will provide strategic advice, manage project risks, oversee reporting and evaluation activities, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with legislative requirements and organisational priorities.
You will play a key role in identifying emerging issues and opportunities, influencing stakeholders and supporting evidence-based decision-making across a dynamic and evolving policy environment.
