  • Role based in Parramatta/Sydney with flexible/hybrid working environment

  • Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $133,348 – 146,945 + super

Are you a proactive and solutions-focused project professional who thrives in dynamic environments? We're looking for a Senior Project Officer to lead complex projects, provide strategic advice and drive continuous improvement across funding, governance and program delivery.

About the Role

As Senior Project Officer, you’ll manage complex projects and programs of work that support strategic and operational outcomes across the organisation. You’ll lead key funding administration processes, including governance support, briefing materials, correspondence and requests for information, ensuring activities are delivered in accordance with agency requirements and timeframes.

You will provide specialist funding, governance and advisory services to support evidence-based decision making and effective program administration. Building strong relationships across internal and external stakeholders, you will monitor risks, issues and benefits, coordinate competing priorities, and contribute to robust governance and reporting processes.

The role also plays a key part in driving continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to strengthen systems, frameworks and processes, including the administration of the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) 2018.

About You

You have demonstrated experience providing specialist funding, governance or advisory services within a complex policy, funding or program delivery environment.

You are comfortable preparing high-quality briefings, correspondence and governance materials, and have a strong focus on continuous improvement, stakeholder engagement and delivering practical outcomes.

You are passionate about improving systems, processes, and governance frameworks.

Essential Requirements

Tertiary qualification and/or relevant knowledge and experience.

Knowledge of funding administration policies, processes and frameworks is highly desirable.

The NSW Reconstruction Authority is a statutory corporation and executive agency of the Premier’s Department, that will improve how NSW plans for disasters and ensure that we recover from them faster.
