About the role
As the Senior Project Officer, you will beproviding specialist adviceto clientsand establishing strong stakeholder engagementLeading the relocations team, you willsupport flood affected community members effectivelyrelocateto flood safe lands
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced client-side individual to collaborate with local council and industry bodies to ensure this aspect of the Resilient Homes Program is coordinated and delivered efficiently.
Establish stakeholder relationships through negotiation and issues management to engage stakeholders and ensure project deliverables are met
Monitor and evaluate project implementation, including risk management, benefits realisation, program impact and quality measures, to identify and address issues, assess project progress and effectiveness, and achieve project outcomes
Manage the program’s compliance with governance, funding and quality requirements
About You
You will have strong communication skills to support the customer relocation journey and decision-making process for eligible community members. You have a proven history of engaging stakeholders including internal and external (i.e., professional industry bodies, and community members).
You have previously led a team to work towards project deliverables within timeframe and supported reporting and data analysis to inform policy and program improvements.
You have a track record of strong problem solving and analytical thinking skills to assess situations and develop resolution strategies. You are passionate about building strong collaborative relationships with communities and providingsupport in a community-focused environment.
Essential Requirements
Tertiary qualification and/or relevant knowledge and experience.
