
Senior Project Officer
ASHM is not-for-profit organisation seeking an experienced Senior Project Officer (SPO)
to lead the delivery of high-quality health programs within our National Policy
and Education division. The role is responsible for managing innovative
projects, lead stakeholder engagement, and drive policy and advocacy efforts.
You will have the opportunity to work with clinical experts, influence national
health policy, and help shape the direction of critical health programs.
About You
You are a strategic and motivated mid-to-senior level Project Officer with experience delivering complex health programs. You thrive in leadership roles, confidently guiding cross-functional teams and managing competing priorities in dynamic, fast-paced environments. With a strong understanding of the health sector, you bring excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills, along with the ability to drive projects from planning through to successful delivery.

Location Sydney or Melbourne
Employment status Full-time Fixed term (12 months contract)
Salary $75,000 to $90,000 + super + salary packaging

With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.
We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.
When it comes to training and research we partner with the very best. Our campus partners, the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute (MCRI) and The University of Melbourne Department of Paediatrics, along with the RCH Foundation, are on site with the hospital in Parkville.
