In France, Amentum is strong of more than 200 highly skilled employees in the nuclear sector, with its key customers such as Iter, CEA, EDF and SMR/AMR developers, and quickly growing, while exploring new markets such as space and defence, by leveraging its strong capabilities worldwide. With a strong pipeline with massive projects ahead, Amentum is looking to reinforce its Technical and Sales team with smart, cooperative, dynamic and customer-oriented talents to scale up the business, lead on key opportunities and support the development in new markets.

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Project Manager with both technical and sales capabilities, located in Paris, Lyon or Aix, with the flexibility of some work from home. He will be responsible for leading the development of strategic opportunities from identification to contracting, managing and coordinating all aspects of the bidding process, supporting strategy, supporting emerging opportunities and new markets, with a strong customer focus. Daily tasks include leading bid teams, preparing, and presenting proposals, managing client relationships, and collaborating with various internal departments to achieve development objectives.

Qualifications

  • Experience or strong interest in bid management, business development, and client relationship management

  • proven project management and organizational skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both in French and English

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite

  • Relevant experience in the engineering, technology, nuclear, space or defence industry is a plus

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or a related field
