In this role, you'll:
Play a pivotal role in providing technology operations project management leadership and delivery for the planning and implementation of the $568m Opal Next Generation (ONG) program. This role provides high-level professional guidance and coordination for technology operations projects within the ONG program.
Lead multi-functional technology operations teams to undertake and drive project scoping / planning, project management and operational processes for the technology transition from delivery to operations for ONG Solution deliverables. The transition projects will ensure compliance with operational requirements, and you’ll work within a project management framework to ensure projects are delivered to best practice standards, are commercially sound, meet the needs of key stakeholders and deliver to the outcomes for ONG.
Direct the development of project schedules, resource plans, operational plans and processes, budgets to deliver outcomes that meet ONG strategic and operational needs. Coordinate project approval, cost planning, commercial and procurement processes.
Oversee risk and issue management, as well as reporting and governance to ensure project risks, issues, dependencies and impediments are managed, escalated and documented effectively to inform project directions and mitigate risk.
Provide leadership and direction to a number of technology delivery and operations team reports in a matrix reporting line context, to achieve the technology operations projects’ objectives and facilitate ongoing development, wellbeing and engagement for the technology operations team.
Fixed term full-time opportunity to January 2029| Home office is Parramatta Square. Office attendance based on project requirements and in line with Transport's Workplace Presence policy.
