PM Team Lead & Senior Project Manager
As a Team Lead and Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing high-stake projects while mentoring and developing a combined team of junior to senior project managers. This dual role combines strategic leadership with hands-on project execution, offering a unique opportunity to shape both project outcomes and talent development.
In addition to managing line responsibilities, you will ensure successful project delivery in a dynamic, multicultural environment. You will work closely with clients, internal teams at Vanderlande, and subcontractors to ensure customer satisfaction, risk mitigation, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Excellence Lead and oversee complex material handling projects within the Parcel segment in Southern Europe, LATAM, and the Middle East regions, ensuring successful delivery (time, budget, quality, and safety), through effective coordination with clients, internal teams, and subcontractors.
Team Development Guide, coach, and mentor a group of junior to senior project managers, fostering a high-performance culture and their growth and maturity within the organization.
Talent Growth: Develop internal talent through structured training and mentorship, reducing reliance on external hires while enhancing team performance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with the Sales department during project sales stages, contributing to operational reviews and understanding commercial dynamics.
Customer-Centric Approach Maintain strong relationships with key clients —particularly within Parcel segment— ensuring continuous feedback and improvement in project design and execution.
Strategic oversight: ensure alignment between business objectives, customer satisfaction and project execution.
Process Improvement Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices across the Distribution Domain to ensure consistency in project management approaches.
Reporting & Monitoring Provide clear and concise progress updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Department Overview
You will be part of the Global Execution team within the Distribution Domain with a main focus within the Parcel segment, a collaborative and agile group dedicated to supporting the global segment and local centers such as those located in Southern Europe, LATAM and Middle East regions. The team operates within a flat organizational structure and an open, inclusive culture, fostering a dynamic environment ideal for working with Vanderlande’s key accounts.
Candidate Profile
We are seeking a seasoned professional who embodies the following qualities:

Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and spoken; additional languages are an advantage
Approximately +8 years of experience in project execution within a technical, complex environment.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field.
Affinity with logistics and/or industrial automation.
Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time and dedicate yourself to long-term client success.
