Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Senior Project Manager, Retail Solutions on a permanent basis on our Technology team. This position is a remote opportunity and is based in anywhere across Canada

Are you an experienced leader of multimillion-dollar projects engaging a diverse network of stakeholders across the enterprise? This is your opportunity to lead a high-impact, enterprise-wide transformation driving the Unified Point of Sale (UPOS) program—standardizing operations, modernizing retail technology, and aligning a broad and complex ecosystem of business, technical and operational partners. This role is at the heart of delivering lasting efficiency, strengthening Co-op partnerships, and building in-house capability for long-term success.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex, enterprise-wide transformation initiatives, spanning technology, business process, and organization change ensuring alignment to strategic priorities, timelines and financial targets.
  • Drive integrated planning and execution across people, process and technology ensuring the solutions are aligned to operational realities across the CRS.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and external partners, fostering alignment, ownership, and clear accountability for delivery outcomes.
  • Drive clear, audience-tailored communication and contributes to continuous improvement of project management practices.
  • Ensures clear, timely communication and stakeholder alignment by leading reporting, governance forums, and vendor negotiations to ensure project expectations, deliverables, and changes are effectively managed.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks across organizational, operational and technical dimensions applying disciplined practices to ensure successful delivery

Who you’ll work with:
The Team: You will work closely with IT teams, cross functional teams and other Senior Project managers and will you will report to the Senior Manager, Retail Delivery Programs. This team strives to cultivate a culture of innovation, collaboration, and expertise while executing a series of technology projects..

The Collaborators: You will work closely with other functions in our Technology business unit and collaborate across the organization with teams such as Project Managers, Systems Analysts, Technical teams, Subject Matter Experts from often multiple business units, 3rd party vendors, consultants, contractors and project sponsors.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Project Management & Business Analysis and:

  • Have 8+ years of relevant, progressively responsible project management experience, including all aspects of project life cycle and execution, and at least one of the relevant domains Ag & Home POS, Retail IT Services, In Store Solutions, and Food, Liquor & Fuel POS.
  • Led the execution of a large-scale project with a budget of at least $10 million.
  • Have a degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field. (A combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
  • Have a solid understanding of project management soft ware like MS Project along with Microsoft Office is required and PMP and Agile certification is strongly preferred.
