Your role
Key responsibilities in your new role

In this role, you will lead and manage complex, high-impact projects, taking full accountability for achieving project objectives across scope, timeline, quality, cost, and budget while ensuring successful delivery of business outcomes. You will drive cross-functional collaboration, serve as the key interface between stakeholders, provide leadership to project teams, and facilitate effective problem-solving using structured project management and troubleshooting methodologies.

• Manages projects with significant complexity, risk, reach and noticeable impact for parts of the company
• Is fully responsible for all operational decisions in the project and for the successful achievement of all project targets (time, quality, cost and budget)
• Key communication interface (for project related matters), representing Back End to other Infineon Divisions (e.g. Business lines, Central Functions e.g. Finance, PTI, FE Fabs)
• Forms and leads the project team and assigns responsibilities within project to Project Managers of sub-projects and Project Members
• Uses Infineon project management tools to structure projects, control progress and for reporting and documentation
• Drives problem-solving activities within the project using standard Ifx troubleshooting methodologies, (e.g. 8D, 5 Whys)

You strive to l everage advanced project management expertise to lead complex, high-impact projects, ensuring effective planning, execution, governance, and financial management while delivering successful business outcomes. You demonstrate strong leadership, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities, guiding teams through challenges, driving innovation, and fostering the development of project management best practices across stakeholders and project teams.

• Masters / Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Semiconductor Technology, Microelectronics, Automation, Mechanical, Electrical, Physics, etc.)
• Project Management Professional Certification (IPMA level C) is mandatory
• At least 8 years of relevant working experience, thereof 6 years of leading projects and acted as a formal tutor or mentor
• Has in-depth project management knowledge in terms of project initiation, planning and closing including reporting and documentation; is able to select, scale and combine the appropriate project methodologies
• Has good knowledge in project-related legal topics and manages financial aspects
• Leads others to solve complex problems; uses sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgement and identify innovative solutions
