We are seeking an experienced and delivery-focused Senior Project Manager / Project Director – Supervision to lead the day-to-day management and successful delivery of major Property & Buildings supervision projects across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The role will be responsible for project leadership, client management, supervision operations, commercial performance, bid support, project governance, and multidisciplinary team coordination. Working closely with the Project Director and Director of Supervision, the successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, profitably, and in accordance with WSP's quality standards and client expectations.

The role requires strong leadership, client-facing capabilities, operational management, and commercial acumen, ensuring successful project outcomes and long-term client satisfaction.

Project Leadership & Delivery

  • Lead the delivery of major supervision projects from mobilisation through to completion.
  • Manage multidisciplinary supervision teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain project execution plans, resource plans, and delivery strategies.
  • Monitor project progress, project risks, and key performance indicators.
  • Ensure effective coordination between clients, contractors, consultants, authorities, and project stakeholders.
  • Lead project review meetings and ensure proactive resolution of delivery issues.
  • Support project close-out, handover, and lessons learned activities.

Client Relationship Management

  • Act as the primary client contact for assigned projects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, developers, contractors, and government authorities.
  • Ensure client expectations are understood and consistently achieved.
  • Drive high levels of client satisfaction and repeat business opportunities.
  • Participate in client presentations, project reviews, and progress meetings.
  • Support account development within existing client portfolios.

Supervision Operations

  • Manage the operational delivery of supervision services across assigned projects.
  • Ensure appropriate deployment and utilisation of project resources.
  • Coordinate Resident Engineers, discipline leads, inspectors, and specialist teams.
  • Monitor workforce requirements and resource planning.
  • Promote consistency in project controls, reporting, and supervision practices.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across project delivery.

Commercial Management

  • Manage project budgets, revenue, resource utilisation, and profitability.
  • Monitor project financial performance and forecasting.
  • Identify commercial risks and opportunities and implement mitigation measures.
  • Support contract administration, variation management, and change control processes.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and project governance requirements.
  • Assist with claims management and commercial discussions where required.

Bid & Business Development Support

  • Support proposal preparation, technical submissions, and tender responses.
  • Participate in client interviews and project presentations.
  • Contribute project delivery expertise to work-winning activities.
  • Support opportunity identification within existing projects and client accounts.
  • Assist with pipeline development and pursuit activities within KSA.

Governance, Risk & Quality

  • Ensure compliance with WSP project management systems and governance requirements.
  • Maintain oversight of project risk registers and mitigation plans.
  • Drive quality assurance and quality control across project delivery.
  • Monitor project compliance with contractual, regulatory, and authority requirements.
  • Ensure lessons learned and best practices are captured and implemented across projects.
  • Promote a strong culture of accountability, quality, and continuous improvement.

Health, Safety & Environment

  • Champion WSP's safety-first culture across all project activities.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Monitor project HSE performance and ensure corrective actions are implemented where required.
  • Support the development of a proactive safety culture across project teams.

People Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop project teams.
  • Support performance management, coaching, and capability development.
  • Foster collaboration, teamwork, and high-performance behaviours.
  • Support graduate and junior staff development.
  • Promote WSP's values, culture, and professional standards.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline.
  • Master's Degree desirable.
  • PMP or equivalent project management qualification preferred.
  • PE, CEng, or equivalent professional accreditation is advantageous.
  • 20+ years of project management and construction supervision experience.
  • Proven track record managing large-scale building projects within Saudi Arabia or the Middle East.
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary supervision teams and major client relationships.
  • Strong understanding of project governance, contract administration, and commercial management.
