About Primary Markets team
The Primary Markets teamoperatesacross Equity, Debt and Funds, supporting companies throughout their lifecycle in public markets—from pre-IPO preparation through to post-listing activity.
The team manages relationships with a broad base of issuers across Euronext markets, spanning both Equity and Debt listings, and works closely with intermediaries,investorsand the wider financial ecosystem. In addition, we support the development of complementary offerings including Euronext Corporate Services (ECS) and ELITE.
Primary Markets combines business development, marketstructuringand operational delivery. We support a large and diverse issuer base, contribute to key revenuestreams anddeliver strategic initiatives to enhance how marketsoperate Currently, we support approximately1,900Equity issuers andin excess of56,000listed bonds across Euronext markets.
of the role:
This role will lead and coordinate projects supporting listing activities across Euronext markets, with a strong focus on Equity whileremainingadaptable to broader Primary Markets initiatives (including Debt and cross-asset projects).
It sits at the intersection of Primary Markets, SecondaryMarketsand market infrastructure, requiring a strong understanding of how marketsoperatein practice—from listing through to trading and post-trade.
The position isfirst and foremosta project management role, with responsibility for ensuring delivery of complex initiatives. Depending on the project, the role may also involve acting as a Product Owner, helping ensure that initiatives are aligned with business needs and deliver practical outcomes.Itthereforerequires someone who can shape,challengeand deliver initiatives, ensuring they are both strategically relevant and operationally workable.
You will be primarily responsible for:
Leading and coordinatingend-to-endprojects to support and develop listing activities across Euronext markets, with a focus onEquityin line with Euronext’s project managementmethodology, from initiation to operationalgo-live
Actingas a central coordinator forproject management activitiesin the Admissionsdepartment, including detailed planning, resource allocation, riskmanagementand budgeting.
Drivingbusiness workstreams by defining deliverables, owners,deadlinesand quality criteria,drafting minutes and ensuringactions arefollowedup.Fortransversalprojects,you will set up and run project governance,preparepresentations and materials,
Supportingbusiness development initiativeswith operationalimplications Projectswillmainlyrequireskills andexpertiseon the market infrastructure functioning for Cash Equity instruments(listing,tradingand post-trade)
Coordinatingwith internal teams and external partnersstakeholders (intermediaries, custodians…)to ensure seamless executionwhenimpactedbylistinginitiatives
Examples of Projects
Projects span business, operational and infrastructure topics. Examples of past/current projects include:
Implementation of Equity multi-currency trading across Euronext markets
Integration of new markets into Primary Markets operational processes (e.g. Athens or BorsaItalianaintegration across admissions,rulesand fee structures)
Digital transformation initiatives, including onboarding platforms (e.g.MyEuronext) and compliance/process automation
Development and rollout of cross-market frameworks such as listing policies or fee harmonisation initiatives
Skillsand qualifications
Master’s degree (Bac +5) in Finance,Economicsora relatedfield.
At least five years of operational experience in financial markets
Strong understanding of equity market structure, including how secondary markets operate
Knowledge on internal IT systems is a plus (MyEuronext, Plug/Matrix,Optiq, IDS)
Minimum five years’ experienceinvolved incomplex projects end-to-end.
Strongorganisational,analyticaland problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple topics in parallel in a matrix environmentoperatingeffectively across business and operational topics.
Excellent stakeholder management,communicationand leadership skillswith proven ability to work across functions and geographies
Proactive,rigorousand solution-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.
Experience in an international and multicultural environment
Fluent Englishrequired; Frenchisa plus.
