Job Description

We are looking for a talented Lead Senior Project Manager - Sales specializing in Project Management/Execution for our Projects Power Gen Business sector in Italy.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Lead multiple complex sales‑driven projects and programs from initiation through delivery, ensuring alignment to defined business outcomes and customer commitments.
  • Partner with sales, engineering, finance, operations, and external stakeholders to scope projects, define objectives, and agree on measurable performance goals.
  • Develop and manage integrated project plans, timelines, milestones, and budgets to drive on‑time, on‑scope, and on‑budget delivery.
  • Identify, assess, and proactively manage project risks and issues using structured tools to minimize impact and maximize positive outcomes.
  • Apply financial acumen to interpret key financial indicators, support sound decision‑making, and protect project and business performance.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and dependencies clearly to sponsors and stakeholders, adapting messaging to suit diverse audiences including customers and sales teams.
  • Leverage cross‑functional and external resources effectively, sharing best practices and lessons learned to improve delivery across programs.
  • Coach and support project team members and other Project Managers, providing guidance, feedback, and leadership throughout the project lifecycle.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Strong project and program management capability, with the ability to balance scope, schedule, cost, and resources across concurrent initiatives.
  • Proven ability to manage complexity, resolve conflict, and drive structured problem solving in fast‑paced sales and customer environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical and commercial information into clear, actionable insights for varied audiences.
  • A strong customer focus, integrating customer perspectives into project execution to support sales effectiveness and revenue growth.
  • Manage local experienced team composed of Project Managers and Commissioning Technicians

Education/Experience:

  • College, university, or equivalent degree required; role may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
  • Significant relevant work experience, including demonstrated team leadership and cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Proven experience delivering and installing Gensets and Balance of Plant solutions at site level, including within data center environments.
  • Engineering background with the ability to apply procedures, standards, and structured problem‑solving methodologies.
  • Fluency in English and Italian, both written and spoken, to support regional and global stakeholder engagement.
