Senior Project Manager – PeopleSoft Accounts Payable Clean-Up (Hybrid, Silver Spring, MD)

Cordia Resources by Cherry Bekaert is partnered with a leading firm seeking a Senior Project Manager/Senior Accounting Consultant for an urgent Accounts Payable catch-up and clean-up project in PeopleSoft. This is a high-impact, hybrid consulting opportunity in Silver Spring, MD.

Project Details:
  • Location: Hybrid - Silver Spring, MD (3 days on-site/week)
  • Duration: Minimum 6 months
  • Compensation: $100–$120 per hour
You will lead and drive the Accounts Payable clean-up initiative, reporting to executive management and ensuring the successful cleansing of Vendor Master records and reduction of invoice backlog in advance of a Workday migration. This is a hands-on “player-coach” role, overseeing day-to-day operations, presenting KPIs, and holding project resources accountable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and execute Accounts Payable clean-up in PeopleSoft
  • Lead and motivate project teams in an enterprise environment
  • Present and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Interface with C-Suite and report progress to management
  • Ensure project milestones and timelines are met
Required Qualifications:
  • Extensive PeopleSoft experience, especially with AP clean-up projects
  • Proven track record managing teams in large enterprise environments
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with executive stakeholders
  • Availability to work on-site in Silver Spring, MD (Tues–Thurs)
  • Ability to start onboarding immediately and begin work January 5th
