Chanel has embarked on the journey, called ORION POS programme, to converge on a common Point of Sale technology that provides a secure, reliable, and compliant system to minimize our obsolescence risk and provide the foundation to elevate our client and advisor experience. ORION POS program should be governed to promote the adoption of processes based on the selected solution to drive deployment at speed, while avoiding duplication of work, and respecting the ‘Golden Principles’ from the Divisions and local needs. The ORION Programme will replace the aging TTPOS systems in our boutiques and is critical to support boutique sales, services and operation. This leadership role - The ORION Project Manager, would be responsible to drive and manage the ORION POS programme for North Asia and SEAA.

  • Responsible for overall program delivery, including project planning, status tracking, issue and risk management.

  • Demonstrate strong leadership skill to lead ORION programme team, cultivate positive collaboration and provide support on team development

  • Drive communication and alignment with global ORION programme team, regional (NA, SEAA, Japan) and local market IT counterparts to ensure ongoing transparency and alignment on project plans, resources, timelines.

  • Responsible for overall ORION programme project plan, lead various workstream project managers and leaders to form consolidated and integrated project plan, manage project tracking, manage inter-dependency, risk and issue management

  • Responsible for ORION programme execution and technical delivery on pilot and market rollout to coordinate with various workstreams on project activities, including, project kickoff, design workshop, training, testing, cutover, post go-live support.

  • Partner with POS product owner, business system analyst squad, tech & digital workstream lead on various project activities, foster positive work environment and drive effective collaboration.

  • Manage contractors/ vendors to ensure the expected project deliverables to the agreed timelines and the expected quality, as well as quality support in respect to defined SLA.

What you can bring to the team…

  • 10+ years hands on project experience in Retail system design, delivery and support

  • Strong leadership skill to provide support and develop team

  • Strong project management skills (planning, execution, monitoring, risk management).

  • Experienced in managing end-to-end digital/ IT project life cycles and leading projects involving multiple internal/ external, local/ global stakeholders.

  • Experienced working at a Global/Regional/Local level (with multiple countries)

  • Experience working in complex IT environments, and able to prioritise and plan complex work in a rapidly changing context.

  • Experience in retail or luxury retail desired
