Position Statement:

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing the successful delivery of hotel development projects across the Middle East, with a primary focus on Egypt. Working closely with owners, developers, consultants and Hilton stakeholders, the role ensures projects meet Hilton's standards and operational requirements while supporting the continued growth of Hilton's development pipeline across the region.

The role is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and requires extensive travel across Egypt and the wider Middle East to support owners, monitor project progress, conduct site inspections and facilitate project delivery.
You will be the principal point of contact for all project stakeholders, both within Hilton and for owners and partners, throughout the design, construction and hotel opening phases of the development pipeline.

Working closely with Architecture Design and Construction (AD&C), Development, Openings & Transitions, Operations, Food & Drink, Technology, and other specialist functions, you will coordinate the successful delivery of projects while ensuring Hilton's technical, operational and brand requirements are fully incorporated throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires strong project management, technical expertise and stakeholder management skills, together with the ability to manage multiple projects across different brands, owners and countries while maintaining Hilton's quality standards and supporting successful hotel openings.

Responsibilities
• Manage the design and construction process across assigned projects, including new developments, conversions and renovations.
• Manage projects in accordance with the AD&C project management process and Hilton Project Manager roles and responsibilities.
• Act as Hilton's primary AD&C representative and principal point of contact between owners, consultants and Hilton stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare monthly internal project reports, highlighting project progress, key milestones, risks and mitigation plans.
• Review consultant submissions throughout all stages of the design and construction process, preparing associated reports and correspondence.
• Work effectively with owners, developers and consultants to optimize project delivery, quality and program.
• Support the Development team during technical due diligence by reviewing plans, specifications and scheme proposals for compliance with Hilton Brand Standards and applicable local and international codes.
• Provide technical recommendations to the Development team during project evaluation and hotel signings.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary reviews with Development, Architecture & Design, Openings & Transitions, Operations, Food & Drink, Technology, other Hilton stakeholders to ensure timely decisions and project alignment.
• Facilitate communication between owners, consultants and Hilton stakeholders to ensure operational requirements, design intent and brand standards are fully incorporated into the project.
• Identify project risks, technical issues and areas of non-compliance, working collaboratively with owners and project teams to achieve timely resolution.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress, quality, workmanship and compliance with Hilton standards.
• Supervise external consultants where required during project execution.
• Oversee snagging inspections, project handover and hotel opening readiness activities.
• Inspect completed works and prepare project handover documentation in accordance with Hilton project management procedures.
• Undertake Property Improvement Plans (PIPs) for conversion and rebranding projects, preparing detailed reports that define the scope of work required to achieve Hilton standards.
• Provide technical guidance and support to owners during the implementation of agreed PIP scopes.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with owners, developers, consultants and Hilton stakeholders to support successful project delivery.

What are we looking for?
We are looking for a proactive, collaborative and results-driven project management professional with a strong technical background in hospitality / hotel design and construction. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with owners, developers, consultants and Hilton stakeholders. They will be organised, commercially aware and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining Hilton's quality standards. A positive attitude, sound judgement, integrity and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams are essential, together with a commitment to delivering successful hotel projects and supporting Hilton's continued growth across the region.

Required Qualifications
• University degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management or experience in lieu of.
• A minimum of 5 years experience in hospitality design, construction or project management, preferably within an international hotel company.
• Experience managing multiple hotel development projects simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of hotel design, construction methods and project delivery.
• Experience working with owners, developers, consultants and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Knowledge of local building regulations and international Fire & Life Safety standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong project management, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities across different countries.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and project management software.
• Fluency in spoken and written Arabic and English.


Preferred Qualifications
• In-depth knowledge of construction projects and track record of successful project delivery
• Supervisory experience would be advantageous
• Be able to show previous project management experience and be capable of both the leading and monitoring of outside consultants.
