We are currently seeking a Treatment Senior Project Manager (m/f/d) – Herford / Günzburg

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross functional product development projects from concept through successful market launch, ensuring alignment with business objectives and the Xylem Product Development (XPD) process.
  • Manage new product development, value engineering, and localization initiatives within the Treatment portfolio, coordinating activities across R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Product Management, Supply Chain, and Operations.
  • Define project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables, while ensuring projects meet quality, cost, and timeline targets.
  • Identify and manage project risks, develop business cases, monitor project performance, and drive continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Build strong working relationships with global stakeholders, facilitate decision-making, and effectively manage competing priorities in a matrix organization.
  • Prepare and present project updates, recommendations, and key decisions to leadership, contributing to the continued growth and innovation of the Treatment business.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a comparable technical field.
  • Several years of project management experience within an engineering, manufacturing, industrial, or product development environment.
  • Proven experience delivering complex projects and leading cross functional teams
  • Experience in new product development and/or R&D project management.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple functions.
  • Knowledge of project planning, budgeting, business case development, and risk management.
  • A structured, proactive, and solution-oriented approach to problem solving.
  • Experience in water, wastewater, environmental, or related industrial sectors is an advantage.
  • Fluent English skills; German language skills are beneficial.
  • Flexibility to travel internationally as required (up to approximately 25%)

The minimum salary for this position is 67.000€ / year + Bonus. Depending on qualifications and professional experience, a higher salary is possible.
