Parsons is seeking an exceptionally talented Senior Project Manager to support on the refurbishment of a luxury hotel. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting on all phases of design, construction, and execution, ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Leading the end-to-end delivery of infrastructure, master planning, and hospitality projects (including hotel new-builds and refurbishment programmes), ensuring alignment with client requirements, project objectives, and contractual obligations.

  • Develop and maintain project and programme execution plans, covering scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, interfaces, and communication across infrastructure and hospitality assets.

  • Manage the full design management process from concept to IFC, ensuring coordinated, buildable, and cost-effective solutions across all disciplines (infrastructure, master planning, architecture, structure, MEP, and specialist hospitality disciplines).

  • Lead design and technical coordination meetings, manage design changes/VE, and ensure compliance with brand/operator standards and local authority requirements for hotel and resort projects.

  • Oversee planning and execution of hotel refurbishment projects/programmes, including phasing, decanting strategies, and coordination with hotel operations to minimize disruption to guests and revenue.

  • Monitor project and programme progress, prepare regular status and dashboard reports, and proactively escalate key risks and issues with recommended mitigation actions.

  • Interface with clients, hospitality operators/brands, authorities (e.g., for infrastructure NOCs and permits), contractors, and internal teams to secure timely approvals and decisions.

  • Manage contract administration activities including variations, change control, claims support, and performance management of consultants and contractors.

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards across all project activities, including live‑hotel refurbishment environments.

  • Support procurement and appointment of design consultants, PMC subconsultants, specialist hospitality designers, and contractors, including scope definition, RFPs, evaluations, and recommendations.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from a reputable institution.

  • Minimum of 15 years’ experience in project management and delivery with substantial experience on hospitality developments and hotel refurbishment projects/programmes.

  • Proven PMC experience managing large, complex programmes, including oversight of multiple projects, consultants, and contractors, and reporting at programme level to senior client stakeholders.

  • Strong design management background, leading multi-disciplinary design teams (infrastructure, master planning, architecture, structure, MEP, and specialist hospitality disciplines) from concept through IFC and construction support.

  • Solid understanding of infrastructure engineering and master planning processes, relevant industry standards, codes, and regulatory requirements in the UAE, and experience working with planners, architects, engineers, contractors, hospitality operators/brands, and authorities.

  • Demonstrated track record delivering hotel and resort projects, including refurbishment in live operational environments, with understanding of guest experience, operator/brand guidelines, FOH/BOH planning, and integration with existing infrastructure and utilities.

  • Strong command of project management principles, tools, and methodologies (scope, schedule, cost, risk, and resource management), including contract administration, change management, and multi‑disciplinary team coordination.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams, manage stakeholders and client/operator expectations, and represent the organization professionally in meetings and presentations.
