About the Role:

The Senior Project Manager has an expert understanding of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing/ Fire Protection (MEP) systems design and commands coordination and management of MEP disciplines throughout the construction phase. The Senior Project Manager has developed communication, interpersonal, coordination, project management and leadership skills and actively participates in mentoring and development of Project Manager. The Senior Project Manager is expected to proactively coordinate, communicate, and problem solve across disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead MEP projects through all phases of construction, serving as the primary point of contact for clients, owners, consultants, trade partners, and the broader project team while representing all MEP disciplines in meetings and key decisions.
  • Drive project execution through active site presence, field coordination, issue resolution, and management of RFIs, submittals, observations, and corrective actions to keep work progressing on schedule.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules covering engineering, coordination, procurement, installation, start-up, testing, commissioning, closeout, and critical DOB/PAA-related milestones.
  • Oversee pre-construction, subcontractor scope review, bid management, change orders, cost control, and stakeholder communication using issue logs, document management systems, and collaboration tools.
  • Apply advanced expertise in MEP systems design, construction processes, drawing documentation, and multidisciplinary coordination to guide technical decisions, resolve conflicts, and ensure quality throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support commissioning, punch list, turnover, and closeout activities while mentoring Project Managers, contributing to internal initiatives, and assisting with contract workflows, invoicing, proposals, business development, and marketing efforts.

Estimated compensation range: $105,000 - $120,000 annual salary
