The Role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager Engineering to play a pivotal role in leading complex capital projects and driving innovation within our Engineering Department. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this role will be instrumental in delivering cutting-edge production capabilities, such as the development of advanced aseptic production lines for new products like nasal sprays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead large-scale capital expenditure (CapEx) projects from concept to completion, including new production lines and facility expansions.
  • Act as a strategic bridge between engineering, production, and leadership, ensuring investments align with operational and financial goals.
  • Oversee all aspects of project management, including design, implementation, regulatory compliance, risk assessment, and quality assurance.
  • Collaborate across departments (Finance, HR, Production) to ensure seamless integration of new systems and processes.
  • Provide mentorship to junior team members to strengthen departmental expertise.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in leading complex engineering projects within manufacturing environments subject to stringent regulatory requirements. Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred, but a background in the brewing industry, oil refining, medical technology, chemical industry, or other process industries is also relevant.
  • Strong technical expertise in production systems, facility design, and engineering solutions.
  • Deep understanding of regulatory requirements for cleanliness, precision, and quality (e.g., EU-GMP, FDA).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, lead cross-functional teams, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Engineering background with a focus on building and optimizing production facilities is highly desirable.
  • Experience working across different engineering disciplines and managing multiple projects is an advantage.
  • PMP Certification desired.
