Senior Project Manager - CEZ Programme

Salary: we anticipate paying a salary in the £60,000 - £78,750 range

Location: Hybrid working based from one of our offices in Derby, Manchester or Warrington.

The Programme Management team sits at the heart of delivery, bringing together complex projects, stakeholders, governance, resources and strategic planning. We enable critical programme outcomes through collaboration, innovation and disciplined execution across our business and customer programmes.

In this context, we are looking for a Senior Project Manager - CEZ Programme to support our Programme Manager, Plant Delivery, whilst leading a team of Project Managers. This is a pivotal role that will help shape one of our most important customer programmes by driving integrated delivery, governance, resource planning and programme performance.

We'll need you to:

  • Leading programme mobilisation activities and integrating new contracts into the CEZ Programme
  • Defining and coordinating critical interfaces across programme workstreams and stakeholders
  • Driving governance, approvals and assurance activities through the Integrated Approvals and Assurance Plan (IAAP)
  • Managing programme-wide resources, risks, issues and reporting to support successful delivery

As you can see, this is a high-profile role requiring a strategic thinker who combines strong delivery focus, influential stakeholder engagement and the ability to bring clarity to complexity, as well as:

You'll bring:

  • A recognised Project Management qualification, such as APM PMQ or equivalent professional experience delivering complex projects
  • Experience leading projects and programmes within engineering, infrastructure, construction or similarly technical environments
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including influencing senior leaders and facilitating challenging conversations
  • Knowledge of project controls, scheduling and reporting tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Power BI, SAP or similar platforms

How you’ll work

This role offers flexibility by design. We recognise that people do their best work in different ways, so flexible and part‑time working options are available. Travel, including international activity, may be required at times and will be planned sensibly.

  • Salary: £60,000 - £78,750
    Benefits allowance: £2,200
  • Bonus: Up to 12.5%
  • Pension - 12% employer and 6% employee contributions.
  • Holidays - 28 days holiday (+ public holidays) and the ability to buy or sell up to 4 days
