About the role

The Senior Project Manager, Capital Projects WSS ANZ leads major capital projects for mining and infrastructure, providing technical expertise, driving high project management standards, and delivering data-driven plans and risk-based solutions.

Partners with cross-functional global teams to resolve issues, guide project staff, and advance continuous improvement.

Responsibility

  • Leads complex, high value capital projects within the mining and water infrastructure sectors
  • Develops project plans and timelines for complex mining and water infrastructure projects
  • Monitors project progress and adjust plans as required ensuring projects stay within budget and meet contractual deadlines
  • Coordinates with engineering, operations, commercial, and site-based teams to support effective project delivery
  • Builds strong relationships with customers, internal teams, and senior leaders, and contributes to shaping the future direction of the solutions business
  • Develops and implements quality control measures tailored to mining and water infrastructure projects

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience of capital projects in mining, water infrastructure, or heavy industrial environments
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Strong leadership capability and proven ability to lead cross functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Strategic vision and foresight.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey technical and commercial information clearly
