Under the supervision of the Chief of Capital Construction division, is responsible for the leadership, planning, direction, control, and evaluation of work associated with the development, design, review, approval, and construction of County capital building projects and renovations.

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, public administration, or a related field,
Four years of experience in facility management or project management, two years of which were in a supervisory capacity.
(Additional qualifying experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required education. Education beyond a bachelor's degree may substitute on a year-for-year basis up to a maximum of two years for the required non-supervisory experience.)
Possession of a valid driver's license equivalent to a noncommercial class C Maryland driver's license is required at the time of appointment.

The work of this classification entails frequent walking, standing, climbing ladders, ascending stairs, general ability to traverse a project site and the operation of motor vehicles to travel between work sites.
