We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Project Manager to join our Business Development team, helping to drive our expansion on EXP recruiting and onboarding, practice acquisition, succession, and M&A. This role is critical in driving our most important strategic initiatives from concept to execution. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly organized, and excels at cross-functional collaboration.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Lead Strategic Initiatives: Take ownership of high-impact business development projects, leading them from ideation through to implementation and delivery.
  • Project Execution: Develop and manage project timelines, deliverables, and success metrics to ensure on-time and on-budget execution of initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams across the organization-such as Marketing, Sales, Finance, Operations, Product, and Legal-to align efforts, uncover dependencies, and ensure unified execution.
  • Program Design & Overview: Build comprehensive project and program overviews, including business cases, implementation roadmaps, resource plans, and risk assessments.
  • Leadership & Influence: Act as a central driver of progress, removing roadblocks, managing stakeholders, and maintaining accountability without direct authority.
  • Executive Communication: Prepare and present concise updates, strategic briefings, and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Continuous Improvement: Analyze past project performance and identify opportunities to improve process efficiency, scalability, and execution quality.


This position offers a hybrid work schedule, with an on-site presence of 2-3 days per week combining flexibility with team collaboration.

The base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $125,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 7 years of project or program management experience, ideally in business development, corporate strategy, or a related function.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-departmental projects with a track record of successful outcomes.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP or similar certification is a plus.
  • Experience in high-growth or transformation environments.
  • Background in consulting, investment banking, corporate development, or strategic planning is a bonus.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Knowledge of collaborative techniques and approaches; ability to promote a culture of continuous improvement and working together across functions to solve business problems and meet business goals.

Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.

Project Management: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.
