This position is based at our offices in Ostrava–Hrabová and is part of an international team. The role cannot be performed remotely. On-site presence is required; after onboarding, home office can be used up to two days per week.

Your key responsibilities:

• Lead international development projects from project launch through industrialization and handover to serial production.
• Take overall responsibility for project targets, including timing, budget, quality, risks and, importantly, project profitability over the product lifetime.
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams across areas such as R&D, manufacturing, production, quality, logistics and other relevant functions.
• Act as the main project management contact for customers and coordinate communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Establish project plans, milestones, reporting and governance in line with applicable project processes.
• Monitor project progress and costs, identify deviations and initiate corrective actions or escalations.
• Manage project risks, changes and stakeholder expectations.
• Report project status and key issues to management.
• Travel internationally few times per year to visit customers or suppliers.

Your qualifications:

• Ideally, a university degree in engineering, project management, business or a related field.
• At least 5 years of international project management experience, including experience leading cross-functional teams.
• Experience managing development projects in an industrial environment; automotive experience is an advantage, but not essential.
• Proven ability to coordinate teams across functions such as manufacturing, quality, production and logistics.
• Experience in customer communication and stakeholder management.
• Strong commercial awareness and a clear focus on project costs and profitability.
• Fluent English; German is an advantage. Czech is not required, but is an advantage.
• Confident user of MS Office, particularly Excel for reporting, and MS Project or a comparable project planning tool.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel internationally.
