Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee, manage and coordinate all operational aspects of department-level projects with significant impact across multiple organizations at a biopharmaceutical manufacturing site in Juncos, Puerto Rico. This role serves as the liaison between the project team and the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of assigned projects: planning, implementation, monitoring, completion and follow-up.
• Maintain the master project plan and schedule; manage competing timelines and prioritize critical tasks.
• Manage and track project budgets; negotiate and reconcile the use of resources.
• Identify and anticipate schedule slips or changes and analyze cost and resource impact.
• Assess project issues and develop solutions to meet scientific, productivity, quality and customer satisfaction goals.
• Establish and achieve project standards for work quality and quantity.
• Develop and implement tools, techniques and processes that enable informed decision-making within teams.
• Liaise with management, department heads, and team leaders to gather input and feedback on project benefits, needs and issues.
• Ensure project goals and objectives are understood by all functional areas.
• Recommend and develop operational or process improvements for the project team.
• Generate periodic updates, reports and formal presentations for required forums.
• Ensure project work complies with regulatory requirements, company policies and standard operating procedures.
• Provide project management support to senior management and department heads, including special projects; may direct the activities of project support staff.
• Anticipate resource needs and communicate them to management sponsors.

Requirements

Education (one of the following)

• Doctorate degree + 2 years of Project Management experience; OR
• Master's degree + 4 years of Project Management experience; OR
• Bachelor's degree + 6 years of Project Management experience; OR
• Associate's degree + 10 years of Project Management experience; OR
• High school diploma/GED + 12 years of Project Management experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Fluent business English and Spanish, written and oral
• Understanding of and experience with Ariba Sourcing and Contracting modules
• Experience with SAP, TrackWise and project management tools
• Change Control experience
• Highly proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
