Job Description

Our client, a leading multidisciplinary consulting engineering practice, is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their Building & Infrastructure division on a permanent basis. This is a key leadership role taking full ownership of the technical, financial and operational delivery of large-scale commercial projects, with the successful candidate choosing to be based out of Dublin, Galway or Limerick. Salary on offer is up to €85,000. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment and is motivated by driving projects to technical, financial and operational success.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of complex commercial projects from concept to completion.
• Develop, manage and implement detailed project plans balancing time, scope and resources.
• Oversee financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, invoicing and cash flow.
• Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and health & safety requirements including BCAR.
• Drive quality management across the full project lifecycle in line with QMS/EMS/OHSAS standards.
• Establish strong working relationships with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
• Manage sub-consultants and ensure company processes are followed.
• Guarantee that all design work is completed and independently checked by competent personnel.
• Mentor junior project managers and support the development of the broader project team.

Requirements

• Level 8 qualification in Engineering or equivalent.
• 8-15 years experience successfully delivering complex engineering or construction projects.
• Strong capability in delivering projects both technically and financially.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts and consultancy conditions.
• Good understanding of the design process in the Irish construction sector.
• Project Management qualification (e.g. PMP, IPMA, Prince2) an advantage.
