Reporting to the Senior Program Manager FTTH, this position is responsible for planning, coordinating, monitoring, and implementing complex telecommunications infrastructure projects supporting broadband deployment programs. The incumbent is accountable for ensuring all Central Office infrastructure required to support service delivery is designed, procured, delivered, installed, commissioned, tested, and accepted in accordance with project schedules and operational requirements.
The position provides leadership and coordination across multiple disciplines working with Implementation Managers to deploy the power, IP, transport, and voice infrastructure as well as our Network Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain, and external contractors. The role serves as the primary point of accountability for Central Office readiness and infrastructure activation.
Projects within the portfolio may vary in number, size, complexity, geographic location, and funding source. The incumbent will be responsible for coordinating internal and external resources to ensure project objectives are achieved safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory and governance requirements.

External contacts include vendors partners and consultants for the purpose of evaluating offerings, negotiating pricing, terms and support the incumbent may also be required to act on behalf of the company for the vendor selection process. Interactions with Government entities in terms of permitting and negotiations, customers and outside project teams.
Internal contacts include employees at various levels, from all departments, for establishing requirements and deliverables. This position is accountable to the Project Steering Committee and Sponsor established for each individual project and program.
The incumbent will be required to manage conflicting demands and priorities that arise from time to time within projects. The position works in a typical office environment and involves a moderate number of additional hours as workload warrants. Travel may be required.
