Job Description

This Senior Project Manager opportunity puts you close to the customer and at the centre of meaningful infrastructure and security delivery. This hybrid role offers three days on site and two days working from home, giving you the balance of customer connection, team collaboration, and flexibility.

Leading meaningful infrastructure and security projects, you’ll partner closely with the customer to understand their needs, shape scope, and turn requirements into clear delivery outcomes. You’ll bring a consultative approach to augmented delivery activities, including business case support, governance, requirements traceability, planning, risk management, and delivery above and below the line.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading large or multiple concurrent infrastructure and security projects across the full lifecycle, from initiation, planning and forecasting through to execution and completion.
  • Guiding and motivating project teams to meet agreed success criteria, while supporting projects at risk or deviating from plan with practical advice and expert guidance.
  • Working closely with customers, SMEs, vendors, and technical specialists to understand requirements, define scope, manage deliverables, and translate customer needs into clear delivery outcomes.
  • Maintaining project plans, schedules, risk, issue and dependency registers, while providing clear status updates, insight analysis, and project reporting to senior stakeholders.
  • Managing budgets, resources, scope, timelines, benefits and variations, with a focus on fiscal diligence, benefit realisation, risk mitigation, and shifting priorities.
  • Building trusted customer relationships through clear communication, sound recommendations, strong governance, and sharing lessons learned and best practice insights across teams and accounts.

What we’re looking for:

  • Solid project management experience, ideally within infrastructure, security, or ICT delivery environments.
  • Waterfall project delivery experience, with industry recognised project management certification, such as PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner.
  • Experience working in vendor-based project environments is highly regarded, though customer-side or internal delivery experience will also be considered.
  • Good understanding of requirements traceability matrices, scope development, business cases, and above-the-line project activities.
  • A professional, resilient, and collaborative style, with the ability to knowledge share and mentor others.
